There are various solutions for housing during your study, depending on the location of your campus. Student accommodation in The Netherlands differs from many other countries: most universities do not offer housing on campus and most Dutch students find their own accommodation on the private market.
Non-EU students and EU short stay students (Certificate and Erasmus exchange)
Van Hall Larenstein University of Applied Sciences works together with housing partners in Velp/Arnhem to arrange short stay (max. one year) furnished housing for all Non-European students. We can guarantee to arrange a room for Non-EU students when they apply before the 1st July, after this date this will be subject to availability. For European short stay students Van Hall Larenstein can also arrange furnished accommodation in one of our partner’s buildings in case there is a surplus of available housing.
We have a range of furnished short stay rooms in student houses located at reasonable distance to the university locations. You will have your own room and share the bathroom, fully equipped kitchens, laundry machines etc. with a few other students. These rooms cost in the range of €300,= to €450,= per month.
